The Orissa Economics Association (OEA) is happy to present you with a novel and timely initiative – a “blog space”. This new interactive and dynamic space would be an open house for sharing text, pictures, videos and artworks rising above the barriers of language and geography to engage in issues concerning the economy and economics.
OEA Blogs is organized around posting stories that connect the local to the wider world; that strike a conversation; and that bring one closer to the discourses in multiple disciplines (including natural science) to inform the economy and economics.
The endeavor is to converse important issues easily and lucidly with minimum time lost in processing/editing the posts. We have a competent editorial team and a board of advisors to maintain the quality and standard of this digital domain.
We are hopeful that with your engagement, contribution, support and comments OEA Blogs
would be nurtured as a platform for inclusive learning, open to the ideas in and beyond
economics.
Notes to Contributors
Postings would include short articles/write-ups/commentaries/opinions in Odia and English languages, photos and short videos.
The blog covers the writing on the following broad aspects:
- Ideas
- About interesting books
- Points of view
- Creative entrepreneurs
- Beyond economics
- Reflections
- Research notes from PhD scholars
- Policy briefs
- Interviews
The focus of the Blog should be the economy not merely economics. Postings are welcome from both the Life Members of OEA and non-members. The length of the article should be around 700 words.
